Following his sold-out previous editions of newspaper works, Klaas Kloosteboer has realised a new one in December of 2023. News Wad is an edition of thirty newspaper wads crumpled and sprayed black suspended by a thin cord and a golden hook.
In the current avalanche of terrible news, Kloosterboer felt urged to deal with them in a visceral manner by crushing them, giving them a globe-like shape, and matching their darkness by spraying them black.
