On January 30, as part of our second artist focus in Salon Amsterdam-an initiative by a group of Amsterdam galleries presenting archival work for four weeks across the city–Kubilay Mert Ural will carry out a semi-improvised guitar performance following ambient and shoegaze traditions. The session will focus on atmosphere and layering rather than traditional song structures, with melodies emerging in response to imagined cinematic moods.
