This sculptural piece is part of text-as-draft/draft-as-text (Turin version), a new work presented in Artissima 2024. This piece derives from a first experimentation with ventilation pipes by the artist for her exhibition 'long time lung time continuuum!!! (a conver-something)' at KIT Düsseldorf. Buhlungu conjured them underground through a quartet of metal piping, which huffed and puffed as a progeny of the space’s ventilation system, in dialogue with works by works by Valie Export and Pamela Z, who were invited to participate in the exhibition.
