This painting is part of the triptych #TheBlueQueen, which can be acquired individually or as a whole.

In a world that moves at a fast pace, the concept of rest often eludes us, a crucial need overshadowed by the relentless demands of our daily lives. The Blue Queen transcends this chaos, an embodiment of rest in the form of a West African spiritual persona, who personifies exquisite beauty. She finds her throne in a bathtub, symbolizing the deep yearning of the female body for solace in our tumultuous age.

This triptych is a mirror reflecting the beauty of slowing down, embracing solitude, and prioritizing self-care. It serves as a profound reminder that rest is not just a luxury but a spiritual call, a declaration of self-worth, and a testament to the strength of women.

Cowrie shells, akin to femininity and protection, resonate with her persona, radiating calming, healing energy, and fertility. The Blue Queen embodies the courage to prioritize self-care, the wisdom to say 'no' to overexertion, and the unyielding right to claim moments of rejuvenation.

Her image is a testament to the wisdom lost in the cacophony of modern life, a silent yet commanding symbol of female power and resilience. Her presence evokes ancient insights drowned out by the relentless noise of our hyperactive existence.

The Blue Queen beckons us to honor the tranquility of rest, to rekindle our sense of self-worth, and to recognize the power that resides in the ability to rejuvenate our spirits. In every drop of bathwater, in every serene gaze, she reminds us to make space for the rest we deeply deserve.

This West African spiritual persona depicted in these works is the embodiment of The Blue Queen within us all, guiding us to embrace rest as a spiritual necessity in our journey toward wholeness.
