As part of the finissage of his solo exhibition Teletext Lover, Kubilay Mert Ural will perform original music on May 4.
Music is a key element in his multidisciplinary artistic practice. His artistic career began in the performing arts as an amateur musician. His musical performances are conceived as multimedia events, using videos and installations to create a holistic experience for the music he makes.
In this performance, he will play guitar and synthesisers to generate ambient soundscapes. Each composition has its own story to convey, and it often draws inspiration from imagined film scenes.
The performance starts at 4pm and lasts 40 minutes approximately.
